NSW: Pedestrian killed in collision with motorcycle

SYDNEY, Aug 30 AAP - A female pedestrian has been killed and two people on a motorcycle
have been hospitalised after a collision in Sydney's west last night.

The 68-year-old Parramatta woman was walking along Pitt Street in Parramatta about
7pm (AEST) when a silver BMW motorcycle collided with her, police said.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 35-year-old Villawood man and his passenger, a 28-year-old
woman from Gladesville were thrown from the bike.

All three were treated at Westmead Hospital, where the 68-year-old later died from her injuries.

The Villawood man had a possible hand fracture and hip injury while his passenger injured
her neck and left knee.
