FED:Broderick to head ADFA inquiry

CANBERRA, April 11 AAP - Sex Discrimination Commissioner Elizabeth Broderick will lead
an examination of the treatment of women at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Defence
Minister Stephen Smith says.

She will carry out the inquiry on behalf of the human rights commission.

"This will be an important step in commencing a far-reaching cultural appraisal and
on-going change program for Defence," Mr Smith said in a statement.
